  • Yes, Russian blues are one of a few cat breeds that are hypoallergenic due to shedding very minimal when seasons change, and have a low Fel d 1 protein in their saliva, which helps with allergy suffers when they clean their coat.

  • Russian Blues only shed in the fall and in the spring to molt their coat for the season change. This is the only time you will really notice these cats shed. Their shedding is not as extensive as a domestic shorthaired cat.

  • Every family gets to choose their kitten in order of picks. Ex. 1st pick, 2nd pick, 3rd pick and so on. This is the order of when the deposits were placed. I try and get families to pick their kittens 1 week before they go to their new homes. This helps other families that are behind 1st pick to be able to pick up their kitten, without waiting for 1st pick family, as it gets too complicated and availability for some families are limited.

I also recommend to wait till kittens are 8 weeks of age before picking to let the kittens grow into their own unique personalities and looks, which will help guide families into picking the perfect companion for their family.

  • All families are able to choose their puppy at any time, but it is best to wait till 5-6 weeks of age, as this gives them time to grow into their own personalities and their own features.. I try my best to guide families to the puppy that best suites their life style, as well as the specific features (colour, structure, and size) that they are looking for in a puppy.

  • Yes, my kittens come with a 30 day allergy guarantee. This means if the family has allergies towards my Russian blue kittens, they have 30 days to return the kitten and get a refund of what they paid, minus the deposit, as its non-refundable.

This allows the family enough time to test out allergies and return the kitten. If the family does not notify me within the 30 days and its after the 30 days, this guarantee is voided, and the family wont receive a refund.

  • Yes, I do either ground transport or flight (nanny or cargo). Ground transport must have good reviews.

If you are looking to transport a puppy to the State, due to the new regulations, I will have to wait till the puppy is 6 month old before the puppy crosses the border. I will have to charge housing fees for food and their stay till they are 6 months of age and can cross.

  • Yes, I can do either ground transport or flight (flight nanny or cargo).

  • I recommend that you alter at no earlier than 2 years of age for your long coat german shepherd puppy and your Olde English Bulldog puppy. It is cricial they wait till this age as they need the hormones to develop properly. structurally with their bones and ligaments. Their last platelet doesn’t close till 18 months of age.

  • Both my Long coat German Shepherds and Olde English Bulldogs eat Inukshuk 32/32 kibble. Both breeds thrive very well on this brand and have zero health issues.

  • My Russian blues eat Purina one Healthy Kitten kibble. They really like this food, and have done well on it, so I haven’t changed it. Cats can be quite picky with their food and sometimes refuse to eat their food after a period of time.

  • To reserve a puppy/kitten from a planned breeding, please contact me via text (705)229-9777, email me at agriff335@hotmail.com, or contact me on social media (Instagram, facebook). You can also contact me through whatsapp and also on my website.

  • To reserve a puppy/kitten from an up and coming pairing or to a litter that is already born I ask for a deposit form to be filled out prior to place a $400.00 non refundable deposit. This deposit is transferrable though.

  • I use extremely low dust, unscented clay litter. Russian blues can be sensitive to the perfume in clay litter and cause irritation, so i try and suggest families to stay away from perfume scented litter.

Another litter that I found was great for smell and low dust is pretty litter. It is alittle more pricey than clay litter, but it is a great litter for minimal cleaning and contains odor well.

  • I breed red sable, black sable, solid blacks, red and blacks, and working on solid blues which are planned for 2027. I will have a litter of white long coat german shepherds for 2028.

  • King German Shepherds are not a purebred German Shepherd. They are a mix breed. This mix breed has a list of dogs in it that make up the title of a King Shepherd such as german shepherd, malamute (which is where they get their size), and potentially a shiloh shepherd, and other breeds.

King shepherds are not purebred and cannot be registered. If you are looking for a german shepherd the size of a king shepherd it wont happen as its not within height standard for a west german showline shepherd. It would be classified as a fault.

  • Depends on the female. I have a petite female named Cinder that is very small framed and she sits around 5 lbs. On average females are around 6lbs and males average out to 9-11lbs. The american lines have a more slender petite frame making them weight less, where as the european lines are more husky and thick framed and weight a couple pounds more.

  • My main focus is breeding the American style Russian Blue. I prefer their more petite frame, big eyes, and lighter coat. Giovanni is a mix between American and European, which i was experimenting with, to see what he would bring to the table for my breeding program, as I love the green colour of eyes he has, his light coat, and has such a lush thick coat to him. I look forward to seeing what his offspring look like and if its the direction i’m wanting to go.

Breeding to me is a lot of studying pedigrees and making what you think is a beautiful Russian blue. I am still striving to produce what I really want in my lines and have that consistent look.

  • Yes, every single German Shepherd that enters my program are tested through OFA for their hips and elbows as well as embark full breed panel test. This test covers dm as well.

If one of my shepherds does not pass health testing they will be cut from the program and will be placed in a forever home.

  • Yes, all my olde English Bulldogs are tested with Embark for a full breed panel and health test to ensure they do not carry any health risks, as well as making sure when pairing that neither the stud or the dam carries any health risks that would affect the litter if they were paired.

  • Both my puppies and kittens are whelped and born in the house. They interact on a daily basis with my children. They get de-sensitized with constantly being picked up, carried around, and lots of hugs and kisses from my kids.

The litters are also use to household noises, such as kids running around playing, other dogs in the house, cats in the house socializing with them, and your daily chore noises and smells. This help with building stable temperaments and confidence.

When the puppies have had their first set of vaccinations is when they are allowed to go outside and play in the the grass. I don’t take them out in the winter as we get too much snow up here that, they just don’t have the ability to really walk anywhere.

  • Yes, I do rehome retired dogs. More so females than males, as I have more females to male ratio.

My retired girls do come with a small rehoming fee, just to ensure they are going to a good home.

They will be ready to go once they have been spayed and recovered from their surgery.

Retired age for females is around 4-5 years of age. Sometimes you get younger depending on the situation that are retired early.

  • Yes, I do rehome retired female Russian Blues. Once they have been spayed and recovered from their spay surgery they will be ready to find their forever homes.
